Share the Happiness

We are sociable pack animals, relationships matter.

For 26 years I have been best friends with an amazing person. She is focussed, determined, ambitious, intelligent, athletic, logical, and makes a difference. From spending every day together at school giggling in Mrs Huggie Pull-ups maths classes from year 8 through A-Levels, we went our separate ways….but always to remain friends. I see the cards of old ladies belly laughing doing crazy antics and immediately post them, there is no doubt despite how different our lives are now 22 years on, that in another 70 years things will be any different.

She is currently juggling 3 job roles, working towards inspector, challenging herself with a new hockey team and intense fitness training … Oh and met a new man! We had a great 30 min chat the other day and she was so happy! Life was good….life was great! I could hear her smile! That made me smile and feel happy (for what I thought was for no good reason) the whole day.

This isn’t always the case though, sometimes life gets us down and that’s ok. It isn’t all roses and smiles. But if something is making you happy, share it! Call your friends and family, post a cheesy pic, shout from the roof tops!

Why? We all need to be reminded of happy things to help us see the positives, benefits, appreciate some days are good, feel the highs because we know there are grey clouds lurking, but that’s ok. For that moment let’s smile together πŸ˜„
